About Me
I’m Susie Spades; a professional photographer, journalist, and full-time nomad who lives an unfiltered, unshackled, and unapologetically authentic life. I embrace a completely barefoot and clothing-optional lifestyle, not as a mere choice, but as a fundamental expression of who I am. My existence is defined by freedom; freedom from societal constraints, freedom from judgment, and most importantly, freedom from the expectations that once sought to confine me.
Born in Newnan, Georgia, in July of 1973, I was raised in the conservative South, a place where tradition dictated every aspect of life. Women were expected to conform, to obey, to fit within the well-worn mold of modesty and submission. From an early age, I knew I was different. The rules imposed on me never felt natural, and I carried a constant restlessness inside me; a desire to break free from the path laid before me. For years, I struggled to reconcile my true self with the expectations placed upon me. I wore the mask of conformity, but beneath it, I longed for something greater: a life of boundless authenticity.
A Defining Transformation
In 2013, I made a decision that would forever change my life. I chose to free myself from the weight of societal obligation and instead embrace the truth I had always known; I was meant to live without barriers, without shame, and without compromise. I came out not only as a lifestyle naturist and full-time barefoot advocate, rejecting the unnecessary constraints of clothing and shoes, but also as a woman who would no longer suppress her deepest desires. I embraced my sexual truth, fully owning my exclusive attractions and stepping into my new true identity. For the first time, I refused to let outdated norms define who I was, how I lived, or who I loved.
With this newfound freedom came a drastic shift in how I lived. I left behind the static existence of a traditional home and took to the open road, making my 1973 GMC Eleganza motorhome my permanent residence. I now live exclusively off-grid, immersing myself in the untamed beauty of America's vast public lands; boondocking deep within national forests, resting beneath the endless skies of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land, and finding solitude in the remote corners of state parks and national parks. Whether nestled in the rugged desert landscapes of the Southwest, tucked away in the dense woodlands of the Pacific Northwest, or surrounded by the vast, open plains, I choose to exist where nature dictates the rhythm of life. Beyond public lands, I also take refuge in privately owned off-grid locations that allow me to remain truly free, unrestricted, and immersed in the raw, unfiltered world around me. My home is minimal, my possessions are few, and my soul is unburdened by the trappings of modern society. This is the life I was always meant to live; wild, unconfined, and in perfect harmony with the land.
My wardrobe is equally intentional. I own only four garments, each chosen with purpose: a sheer champagne micro-mini dress, a black sheer ankle-length formal dress, an ivory strapless sheer shift dress, and a black cashmere coat with oversized buttons for warmth. That is all. These pieces are reserved only for moments where clothing is required by societal norms or for practicality. Otherwise, I remain fully nude, unfiltered and unrestricted; the way I was meant to be.
Photography: Capturing Truth Through a Lens
Photography has long been part of my life, but it wasn’t until I embraced my true self that I understood its full power. I see photography as more than an art form; it is a means of storytelling, a way to capture the essence of freedom, raw emotion, and unfiltered authenticity. My work spans architectural marvels, street photography, documentary, astrophotography, nature, and portraiture, but my deepest passion lies in revealing the beauty of truth; the kind that defies convention.
My camera is my voice, my rebellion, my connection to the world. Through it, I challenge the rigid norms of beauty, body image, and self-expression. I document moments that others might shy away from, because I believe that every form of authenticity deserves to be seen, honored, and celebrated.
The Psychology of Desire & Sexual Health
Beyond photography, I am deeply passionate about exploring human psychology, particularly as it relates to sexual health, desire, and uninhibited self-expression. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Homeopathic Psychology. I am also a Board Certified Sexologist. While I do not actively practice on a regular basis, my education forms the foundation of much of my work. I apply my knowledge to my journalism, my YouTube channel, and my OnlyFans platform, where I create content that delves into the psychology of attraction, intimacy, and sexual wellness.
In my photography, as well as my work in human behavior and sexual health, I aim to bring these truths to light, encouraging others to embrace their natural desires without guilt or fear.
Embracing My Erotic Truth
Desire has always been a force within me, undeniable and profound. But only when I fully embraced my truest self did I shed the hesitation and live unburdened by shame or judgment.
There is a particular energy and presence that calls to me; a dynamic that resonates deeply within me, awakening my truest desires and infusing my life with a sense of fulfillment that surpasses anything I’ve known. I no longer resist it; instead, I surrender fully to what feels natural and liberating. This passion, this pull, is about far more than physical attraction. It is a profound connection, one that is as spiritual as it is physical, allowing me to explore and embrace my deepest self.
In my work and personal life, I have the freedom to explore and cultivate these connections, nurturing bonds that fulfill me in ways I never imagined possible. These experiences are a celebration of deep, meaningful interactions; ones that electrify my being and reinforce my belief in the power of intimacy. It’s through these connections that I discover a deeper sense of purpose, one that is both grounding and transcendent.
It is where I find my deepest sense of liberation, and I am honored to live it fully.
A Life of Unwavering Freedom
Living as a nomadic, barefoot naturist has given me something that no traditional lifestyle ever could; absolute, unfiltered peace. There is no greater joy than feeling the earth beneath my bare feet, waking up to the sunrise with no barriers between my skin and the elements, and moving through life on my own terms. Every step I take is a step unshackled, uninhibited, and untamed.
I refuse to be bound by outdated societal norms. I refuse to shrink myself to fit into the narrow spaces others deem acceptable. Instead, I move through life fiercely, freely, and without apology, inviting others to do the same.
Through my journey, I hope to inspire others to question the constraints placed upon them; to break free from the artificial walls of expectation and to fully embrace the life that calls to their soul. Whether through my photography, my writing, or the way I choose to exist, my message remains the same:
Live boldly. Live authentically. Live without compromise.
This is my truth. And I will never hide from it again.
